At the East Valley Field
Trial Club's inaugural running of a American Field horseback
qualifier at Robbins Butte WMA, Preston handled Smart Rail Jack to
his first Shooting Dog placement on Jan. 14, 2006. Congratulations
Preston.

I was also able to handle Gut to a second in the Amateur Derby on
Jan. 15, 2006. All stakes Open and Amateur were run off horseback.

The Bill West Derby classic is held in between the Arizona Shooting
Dog Championship and the Region 12 Amateur Shooting Dog
Championship. Jason Raaf and myself took the dogs up there to run
Roxy and Gut in the BWDC and Jack in the Am. Championship. Jason
handled Roxy to a second in the BWDC.

Jason took Jack, Roxy, Gut and two puppies to New Mexico to run them
in the New Mexico Bird Dog Club's trial. Jason had a great weekend.
He Took a 2nd with Roxy in the Open Derby and 1st in the Am. Derby.
He took a 2nd in the Open Shooting Dog and a 2nd in the Am. Shooting
Dog with Jack. He handled Gut to a 2nd in the Am. Derby. He took 5
placements that weekend.

December 10th 2006 I handled R.T. to a Amateur Derby placement at
the Cochise Bird Dog Club's annual trial near Safford AZ.
